NAB is to buy Citigroup's Australian consumer operations for $1.2 billion in a deal that will double the lender's credit card business.

The Australian share market is expected to fall once again this morning. NAB today completed the acquisition of Citigroup’s Australian consumer business. Woodside completes merger with BHP petroleum and South32 completes acquisition of additional sharing holder in Mozal aluminium.
